Claims Representative Internship - Summer 2027 (Insurance)

Location: Draper, Utah, United States. On-site claims investigations may be required. Must be able to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.

Rate of pay: $22.00 per hour, starting rate.

What you will do

• Investigate claims, assemble facts, determine policy coverage, evaluate losses, and analyze legal liability.
• Pay or deny losses and ensure claim payments are issued accurately and on time.
• Study insurance policies, endorsements, and forms to build knowledge of coverage.
• Work toward claim resolution and attend arbitrations, mediations, depositions, or trials when necessary.
• Support agents, policyholders, and other parties through phone, mail, and on-site investigations.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in college and entering the junior or senior year.
• Above-average written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to resolve complex issues and interpret data.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and maintain attention to detail.
• Ability to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
