Senior Manager (Logistics)

What you will do

• Build and lead the logistics team and warehouse operations, including functional and disciplinary management.
• Ensure reliable domestic and international transportation, shipping, distribution and day-to-day logistics operations.
• Develop and optimize end-to-end processes covering warehousing, receiving, inventory, transportation, shipping and production support.
• Drive improvements in efficiency, quality, cost performance and delivery reliability, including the SAP S/4HANA rollout.
• Partner with production, engineering, procurement and other functions to maintain a reliable flow of materials and information.
• Own dangerous goods handling and ensure compliance with ADR, IATA, IMDG and relevant German regulations.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse management, import/export or manufacturing operations.
• At least 4 years of disciplinary leadership and people management experience, ideally with teams of 5+ employees.
• Experience in a startup, scale-up or complex corporate environment; semiconductor, pharmaceutical or other regulated-industry experience is preferred.
• Deep expertise in supply chain management, material flow, inventory management, production support and import/export regulations.
• Hands-on experience with WMS and ERP systems; SAP/S/4HANA experience is an advantage.
• Fluent German at C1 minimum and English at B2 minimum are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with cleanroom logistics.
• Experience in semiconductor, pharmaceutical or another highly regulated industry.
• SAP/S/4HANA experience.
