Manager Materials Planning (f/m/d)

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop Buyer Planners and Program Buyers.
• Develop strategies to balance material supply and demand.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics to ensure timely material availability.
• Maintain inventory levels and implement inventory control policies to prevent shortages and excess stock.
• Work with suppliers on delivery timing, lead times, and order quantities.
• Analyze materials planning and inventory KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in materials planning, supply chain management, or engineering in a manufacturing environment, including at least five years in a managerial role.
• Experience managing and leading teams, with strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with materials planning software and ERP systems.
• Fluency in German and English, written and spoken.
