Central Operations Director - Field Service Organisation

Location: Based at an hirify.global location in Europe, preferably in France, Ireland, Germany, or Italy. Listed locations include Bernin, France; Agrate, Italy; Dresden, Germany; Leixlip, Ireland; and Treviso, Italy. Travel required for 20% of the time. Relocation is not eligible.

Salary: €104,000–€143,000 per year, with potential bonus and stock award eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead the Central Operations team within the European Field Service Organisation Strategic Program Office.
• Drive operational alignment, communication, change management, and strategic program execution across European field service teams.
• Own quarterly operational reporting, KPI tracking, productivity initiatives, and corrective actions.
• Manage headcount allocation across Customer Engineers, Field Managers, and Site Operations Administrators.
• Define project objectives, milestones, feasibility studies, resource plans, costs, and delivery requirements.
• Assign work, develop team members, and support the integration of new technologies, processes, and methodologies.

Requirements

• People management experience and field operational knowledge.
• Understanding of the service business and key financial fundamentals.
• Strong project and program management skills, including the ability to lead multiple global projects.
• Experience using analytics and data to support business decisions.
• Ability to influence stakeholders, drive change, manage ambiguity, and lead continuous improvement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, clear direction-setting, responsiveness, and relationship-building skills.
