Senior Manager Local Study Operations

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop Local Study Operations Managers, building capabilities for increasingly complex clinical trials.
• Oversee delivery of the France clinical trial portfolio from feasibility through close-out, meeting timelines, budgets, scope, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor portfolio performance, identify risks and quality trends, and lead escalation, mitigation, and resolution activities.
• Manage the performance of study operations managers and clinical research suppliers, including CROs, central laboratories, and imaging vendors.
• Plan resources and allocate workloads across FTE and FSP teams in alignment with global priorities.
• Partner with the Country Hub Head and cross-functional stakeholders on study strategy, placement decisions, continuous improvement, and digital innovation.

Requirements

• Degree and at least 10 years of experience in life sciences and clinical research, including leadership of people, teams, projects, or programs.
• At least 5 years of team management experience.
• Proven experience delivering clinical trials in a biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or CRO setting.
• Experience managing clinical operations across France and understanding local regulatory requirements for global clinical trials.
• Experience overseeing clinical research suppliers and managing resources, budgets, timelines, and performance metrics.
• Fluency in English and French is required.
