Senior R&D Chemist

What you will do

• Own formula R&D across device-based and non-device products.
• Lead product innovation for non-device platforms, including technology and vendor discovery and capability evaluation.
• Set technical requirements and approve or reject feasibility for new formula technologies and product platforms.
• Manage supplier relationships for new base formula technology and partner with Product Development on olfactive sign-off.
• Validate long-term effectiveness for functional products and improve olfactive performance through formula, technology, and raw-material enhancements.
• Establish R&D processes and SOPs and define requirements for a future dedicated R&D laboratory.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or a related field.
• 7+ years of formulation or R&D experience in fragrance, home care, air care, personal care, or adjacent CPG.
• Direct experience managing fragrance-house or formula-supplier relationships.
• Experience defining technical feasibility criteria for new product platforms, ideally including device-based systems.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with engineering and product development.
• Ability to build formal processes and work at production scale.
