Beauty Flavors & Fragrances - Senior Scientist - Band 2 (Fragrance)

Location: Mason, Ohio, United States; at least four days per week in the Mason office

Salary: $110,000–$165,300 per year

What you will do

• Design, formulate, test, and develop new perfumes and perfume technologies.
• Translate consumer insights, brand equities, and technical requirements into fragrance solutions.
• Partner with R&D and Brand teams to integrate fragrances into Beauty products.
• Contribute to fragrance strategy, development, execution, and optimization.
• Identify and lead new ideas, techniques, procedures, services, or product developments.
• Collaborate with Beauty Fragrance Design teams and work under limited supervision.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Food Science, or a related field.
• Perfumery training and proven experience in the Flavors & Fragrances industry.
• Ability to work from the Mason, Ohio office at least four days per week.
• Working hours between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., with a flexible start time between 7 and 9 a.m.
• Willingness to travel domestically and potentially internationally for less than 10% of working time.

Nice to have

• Experience in the Beauty fragrance industry.
• Degree or certification in Olfactory Sciences, Perfumery, or Fragrance Evaluation.
