TL;DR
Senior Automation Engineer (Python, AI Agents & Automation): Building and scaling production-grade automation, agent frameworks, and API integrations for documentation, localization, and language operations with an accent on Python, REST APIs, CI/CD, and LLM-based workflows. Focus on designing multi-agent automation, integrating content platforms through MCPs, and ensuring reliability, security, and maintainability at scale.
Location: 100% remote anywhere in the United States. Candidates in the Eastern or Central time zones are preferred, with flexibility for late afternoon meetings required.

What you will do
- Design and implement automation for documentation, software development, localization, translation, publishing, and delivery workflows.
- Build and operate production-grade agents, scripts, skills, and automation pipelines that reduce complex manual work.
- Integrate documentation, localization, and content platforms using MCPs and REST APIs.
- Apply AI and LLM capabilities to generate, validate, transform, enrich, and manage content under security, privacy, and compliance standards.
- Own system reliability, performance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
- Define reusable automation standards, mentor team members, and collaborate with engineering, localization, DevOps, and content stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in automation engineering, software engineering, or systems integration.
- Strong Python skills and experience building maintainable, testable, production-grade automation and agent frameworks.
- Advanced experience with Git-based workflows, including GitHub, pull requests, code reviews, and repository automation.
- Experience with Jira, Linear, or similar work-tracking tools, plus CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools and integrating LLMs through APIs, with awareness of responsible AI practices.
Nice to have
- Experience with multi-agent or tool-orchestrated AI workflows, coordination, and failure recovery.
- Experience evolving shared automation frameworks used across products or teams.
- Familiarity with observability, metrics, and cost tracking for AI-driven automation.
- Experience containerizing, deploying, or operating long-running automation and agent services in production.
