Salary: $60,000–$75,000 annually.

What you will do
- Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair electro-mechanical medical equipment in clinical and hospital settings.
- Diagnose equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions in line with safety, quality, and SLA requirements.
- Manage an assigned service territory, including scheduling service calls, preventive maintenance, travel, parts ordering, and inventory control.
- Document service activities, maintenance records, inventory transactions, and test-equipment calibration.
- Train customer personnel on equipment operation, maintenance, and inspection procedures.
- Mentor service technicians, share troubleshooting guides and best practices, and participate in installations, field actions, and service improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Experience in biomedical engineering, including installation, maintenance, and repair of medical devices.
- Associate’s degree or higher in biomedical engineering, electrical/electronic engineering, computer science, or a related technical field; alternatively, a non-related associate’s degree with 3+ years of electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience, BMET certification with 3+ years of experience, or completion of a U.S. military electrical or biomedical equipment technology program.
- Ability to work independently, manage a service territory, diagnose complex equipment problems, and apply mechanical adjustments and independent judgment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, Project, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work in healthcare environments while following PPE protocols and meeting physical requirements, including regularly lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to travel 50–75%, drive long distances or fly, and hold a valid driver’s license.
