Associate Field Service Engineer (MedTech)

Location: Wokingham, Berkshire, United Kingdom; based in London, UK. The role is approximately 80% field-based and 20% office-based, with extensive travel within the assigned region and occasional travel across Europe.

What you will do

• Install, upgrade, maintain, and repair medical systems for 3D cardiac mapping and electrophysiology procedures.
• Plan and prioritize weekly service activities across an assigned territory.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions while ensuring system reliability.
• Work with customers on-site and remotely to address technical issues and build long-term relationships.
• Review performance, analyze complaints, document service activity, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Follow health, safety, environmental, and quality standards and communicate risks to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in biomedical, electrical, electronics, or computer engineering.
• Understanding of service and troubleshooting principles; field service or medical device experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with standard test equipment, including digital multimeters and safety testers.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent English communication skills and a valid driver’s license are required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and off-hours, travel extensively, and lift or move equipment up to 35 kg.
