Field Service Engineer - Hematology/Urinalysis (Medford, OR region)

Location: Remote from the Medford, Oregon region, with travel and overnight service visits within the southern Oregon territory

Salary: $33.65–$38.46 per hour, plus bonus or incentive pay

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, install, maintain, modify, and repair Beckman Coulter diagnostic equipment.
• Provide efficient customer service and technical product training.
• Maintain customer service logs and internal records, order repair parts, and meet service cycle times.
• Use OBI, Salesforce, and SharePoint for service call planning and team objectives.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to meet service requirements and improve customer satisfaction.
• Help train newer Field Service Engineers.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree, military experience, or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotic, electronic, or instrumentation equipment.
• Ability to travel and stay overnight within the assigned territory or service locations.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment weighing up to 50 lb.

Nice to have

• At least 2 years of advanced troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventive maintenance, modification, or service repair experience.
• Experience developing business relationships and improving customer satisfaction and retention.
• Technical college major in biomedical technology, engineering, or a related field.
