Assoc Eng Integration & Yield (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Support process integration across semiconductor wafer fabrication operations and help maintain stable, repeatable manufacturing performance.
• Monitor yield trends, analyze manufacturing, inline, electrical, and reliability data, and identify root causes of yield excursions and process variation.
• Collaborate with process, equipment, manufacturing, quality, and product engineering teams to resolve yield-limiting issues and implement corrective actions.
• Support new technology introductions, process qualifications, manufacturing ramps, and process-control strategies.
• Apply DMAIC, 8D, Fishbone Analysis, and FMEA to continuous improvement initiatives covering quality, cycle time, productivity, and cost.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings, recommendations, and improvement plans to engineering and management teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Semiconductor Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 0–3 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, wafer fabrication, process integration, yield engineering, process engineering, or a related industry.
• Understanding of semiconductor device fabrication processes, including lithography, etch, deposition, CMP, diffusion, or metrology.
• Experience analyzing large datasets and applying statistical methods to engineering problems.
• Familiarity with yield analysis, defectivity monitoring, SPC, and process-control methodologies.
• Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization or analysis tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in a semiconductor fabrication cleanroom, follow cleanroom protocols and gowning procedures, use PPE, and perform occasional lifting, standing, walking, and movement within manufacturing areas.

Nice to have

• Internship or industry experience in semiconductor wafer fabrication or advanced manufacturing.
• Knowledge of JMP, Minitab, Tableau, Spotfire, Python, SQL, or other data analytics tools.
• Familiarity with semiconductor yield management systems and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
• Exposure to Design of Experiments, Failure Analysis, and reliability testing methodologies.
• Understanding of statistical modeling and advanced data analysis techniques.
• Experience in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.
• Project management or continuous improvement experience.
