Robotics - Smart Factory Internship (Robotics/IoT)

Location: Singapore, Central Singapore; hybrid, with an average requirement of 2 days per week from an HPE office.

What you will do

• Identify and resolve common and complex challenges in manufacturing robotic automation projects and large-scale operations, supply chain management, and logistics programs.
• Collaborate with business functions to identify pain points and recommend solutions for specific organizational challenges.
• Design, drive, and implement programs that improve the maturity and effectiveness of manufacturing landscapes in line with industry best practices.
• Support end-to-end project management from ideation and planning through stakeholder alignment, execution, monitoring, implementation, and post-implementation review.
• Develop project charters, ROI analyses, and presentation materials to help transition proofs of concept into funded projects.
• Research emerging manufacturing technologies beyond robotics and contribute digital solutions, strategic insights, and roadmap recommendations.

Requirements

• Final-year student pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Digital Transformation, Engineering, Business, Mathematics/Statistics, or a related field.
• Understanding of supply chain ERP, MES, and planning systems.
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 and Smart Factory concepts, including IoT and robotics applications for manufacturing automation.
• Basic proficiency in operational data analysis using SQL, Power BI, or similar data visualization tools, including measuring proof-of-concept outcomes such as OEE or cycle-time improvements.
• Critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas.
