Senior Manager Digital Payments and Banking (German Speaking)

Location: Berlin, Germany; hybrid work with at least 3 days in the office required

What you will do

• Lead consulting initiatives for key clients in the German market and act as the primary client contact.
• Manage multiple consulting projects, ensuring high-quality delivery against objectives and timelines.
• Gather and analyze client portfolio data, generate insights, and develop strategic and practical recommendations.
• Help clients design and scale digital value propositions and processes across payments and daily banking.
• Drive activation and usage of digital cards and improve daily banking customer lifetime value.
• Support strategic responses to digital fraud and cybersecurity risks while collaborating across hirify.global teams.

Requirements

• Comprehensive experience in the German retail banking and/or payment card industry.
• Experience in strategy or management consulting, including project delivery and agile methodologies.
• Master’s degree in economics, finance, or a related field, with a strong academic record.
• Strong client relationship management, communication, presentation, analytical, leadership, and collaboration skills.
• Experience in digital and technology-driven environments, with knowledge of consumer economics and financial performance indicators.
• Fluency in English and German is required for client work.
