TL;DR
Senior Managing Consultant/Managing Consultant — Forensic Investigations (Forensic Accounting/eDiscovery): Leading investigation workstreams, performing forensic analysis, and structuring accounting, ERP, payment, and communications data with an accent on fraud investigations, financial misstatement, and regulatory and criminal proceedings. Focus on drafting evidence-based reports, supporting eDiscovery review, supervising consultants, and preparing materials for clients and counsel.
Location: Düsseldorf, Germany; hybrid working. Willingness to travel within Germany and internationally is required.

What you will do
- Lead defined workstreams within forensic investigations from planning through written findings.
- Perform journal entry testing, revenue recognition reviews, intermediary payment analysis, and asset and funds tracing.
- Structure and interrogate large datasets from SAP, DATEV, Oracle, payment systems, and communications data.
- Support eDiscovery through search term design, review protocols, quality control, and analysis of results.
- Draft investigation reports, exhibits, and schedules for use in proceedings.
- Supervise consultants and associates and participate in client and counsel meetings.
Requirements
- Four or more years of relevant experience in forensic work, audit, internal audit, transaction services, or a comparable in-house or technology role.
- University degree in business administration, accounting, economics, law, information systems, data science, or a comparable subject.
- Strong Excel skills and a methodical approach to documentation.
- Fluent German and English.
- Willingness to travel within Germany and internationally.
Nice to have
- Progress toward or completion of WP, StB, CPA, ACA, ACCA, or CFE qualification.
- Working knowledge of SQL, Python, Alteryx, Power BI, or Relativity.
