Backend Engineer (C++/Java/Python)

What you will do

• Analyze specifications and define user requirements for new or enhanced software solutions.
• Design technical solutions, conduct feasibility studies, and present options to Product Management and users.
• Develop software and model, design, and implement databases using industry standards.
• Conduct unit, package, and performance testing and participate in product validation.
• Debug and support existing solutions in collaboration with Product Managers and Analysts.
• Produce technical documentation for internal and external use.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science.
• First experience as a software developer through an internship or full-time role.
• Proficiency in one or more of C++, Java, or Python.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum.
• Written and spoken English proficiency required.

Nice to have

• Azure, Bash, Jenkins, Artifactory, Bitbucket, Docker, or OpenShift experience.
• Prometheus, Grafana, GoogleTest, Mock, or JMeter.
• Jira, Confluence, Kafka, Swagger, Postman, Oracle, or Couchbase.
