TL;DR
IT Integration Engineer (AI): Architecting and implementing scalable integrations across enterprise systems, SaaS platforms, cloud infrastructure, and data pipelines with an accent on CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and AI-driven middleware. Focus on building Node.js and Python automation, integrating machine learning services and LLMs, managing MCP servers, and optimizing secure, reliable integration layers.
Location: Based in Berlin or Munich, Germany, or Rennes, France. Remote work support, flexible working hours, and regular onsite gatherings are provided.

What you will do
- Design and maintain scalable integrations across enterprise systems, SaaS platforms, and internal applications.
- Build GitLab-based CI/CD pipelines and provision cloud infrastructure with Terraform, primarily on AWS.
- Develop automation scripts and data integration pipelines using APIs, webhooks, ETL, messaging systems, and event-driven architectures.
- Build AI-driven middleware with Node.js and/or Python for decisioning, routing, and workflow logic.
- Manage, deploy, and troubleshoot MCP servers used for middleware, message processing, and programmatic control.
- Collaborate across software, data, and cloud teams to deliver secure, documented, tested, and reliable integration solutions.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in IT integration, DevOps, or software engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with GitLab, including pipelines, runners, artifacts, and CI/CD orchestration.
- Proficiency with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools and experience deploying AWS resources.
- Experience with Python, Bash, or JavaScript/Node.js automation and backend development.
- Experience building data integrations with APIs, webhooks, ETL, messaging queues, or event-driven systems.
- Knowledge of MCP Node.js servers, AI/ML concepts, model APIs, prompt engineering, networking, identity and access management, and security best practices.
