Senior Risk Manager (Fintech)

Location: Remote, London

What you will do

• Embed and enhance the Risk Management Framework in line with risk appetite and business strategy.
• Deliver RCSAs, independent second-line control testing, thematic assurance reviews, and top-down risk assessments.
• Identify control gaps, define remediation plans, monitor risk events, and oversee risk registers.
• Support ICARA, capital and liquidity risk management, trading risk oversight, and horizon scanning for emerging risks.
• Review risks associated with new products, features, strategic initiatives, and regulatory change.
• Prepare and present risk reports, assessments, and governance updates to senior management.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of risk management principles and practices, with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Experience assessing controls, developing risk mitigation strategies, and managing risk governance processes.
• Understanding of the FCA MiFIDPRU framework, wind-down planning, and operational resilience.
• Knowledge of capital and liquidity management and market risk for a retail client base.
• Strong communication, leadership, attention to detail, and risk assessment capabilities.
• Proficiency with risk management software and tools.
