(Senior) Fraud Operations Expert (m/f/x)

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end triage, investigation, and resolution of potential fraud cases flagged by monitoring systems or business teams.
• Ensure accurate and timely case decisions across a dynamic workload.
• Identify operational gaps, inefficiencies, and emerging risks, and propose improvements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to strengthen fraud detection and prevention strategies.
• Analyze recurring patterns and translate them into actionable, data-driven insights.
• Participate in on-call coverage during early and late hours and on weekends when required.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in fraud operations within fintech, payments, or a similar environment.
• Deep understanding of fraud typologies and the ability to translate complex patterns into actionable insights.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, self-direction, and case ownership.
• SQL skills or experience with another programming language for querying data and analyzing patterns.
• Fluency in German and excellent written and spoken English are required.
