Senior Manager, Fraud Operations (Fintech)

Location: Remote - US

Base pay: $95,370–$132,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of Fraud Analysts, setting investigation standards, documentation requirements, and performance expectations.
• Establish fraud classification and labeling infrastructure for reporting and Data Science model training.
• Build investigation playbooks and SOPs for card fraud, application fraud, Early Fraud Warning alerts, and coordinated fraud rings.
• Design fraud detection controls with Product and hirify.globalering, covering application-stage signals and post-approval monitoring.
• Report fraud patterns, P&L impact, and recommended policy actions to the Director of Risk and CFO.
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, Credit Underwriting, and Member Support on escalations and high-severity cases.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in card fraud operations involving credit, prepaid, or gift cards.
• Experience managing investigators or analysts.
• Experience with SEON or an equivalent fraud detection platform and Salesforce case management.
• Familiarity with BSA/AML requirements and KYB outputs used to identify fraud signals.
• Strong written communication for clearly escalating fraud patterns and business impact to leadership.

Nice to have

• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification.
• Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification.
• Experience in fintech, travel, or multi-product marketplaces.
