What you will do
- Supervise daily engineering department activities and report weekly and monthly engineering KPIs.
- Prepare and improve process documentation, including process flow charts, FMEA, general standards, buyoff records, and engineering changes such as ECR and ECN.
- Prepare process equipment for mass production, perform machine setup and troubleshooting, and develop test parameters to verify machine capability.
- Support production with process improvement, line balancing, automation, foolproof jigs and fixtures, and productivity and quality improvements.
- Develop technical standards, new jigs, fixtures, and automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
- Handle new projects, project transfers, FAI activities, production engineering issues, and preventive maintenance for facilities and machinery.
Requirements
- Diploma, advanced or higher diploma, bachelor's degree, postgraduate diploma, professional degree, or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Experience with MS Excel and AutoCAD.
- Mandarin, English, and Malay language skills are required.
- Electrical/Electronic Engineering specialization is preferred.
