Engineering Technician II, Manufacturing

What you will do

• Set up assembly manufacturing equipment, including equipment used for new product transfers.
• Support Manufacturing Engineers with process development, automation, assembly methods, and manufacturing runs.
• Develop process control systems, working instructions, quality alerts, troubleshooting guides, and assembly training materials.
• Debug products and processes, investigate low first-pass yield, and apply Six Sigma tools and DMAIC methodology.
• Support the design and development of jigs and fixtures, SAP GLM label setup, and assembly process monitoring.
• Conduct product failure analysis and prepare documentation and reports.

Requirements

• Diploma or certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Machining, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar manufacturing or engineering technician role.
• Strong knowledge of assembly processes, mechanical design, jig and fixture design, and assembly equipment operation.
• Experience with Process FMEA, Control Plans, MES WIP troubleshooting, and corrective and preventive action reporting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical and engineering drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with automation assembly program fine-tuning and manufacturing process flow.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
