Intern - Kite Research - In Vivo Pharmacology (CAR T-Cell Therapy)

Location: Foster City, California, United States; hybrid work at the designated site is required, and fully remote work is not offered.

Salary: $19.00–$55.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Contribute to in vivo and ex vivo CAR T-cell therapy research projects using preclinical mouse models.
• Participate in murine efficacy, PK/PD, and tumor-model studies, including tumor measurements, bioluminescent imaging, body-weight monitoring, clinical observations, welfare assessments, and sample collection.
• Perform aseptic culture and inoculation of cancer cell lines, human CAR T cells, and other primary immune cells.
• Support dosing, tissue collection and preparation, flow cytometry, molecular biology methods, data acquisition, and analysis.
• Maintain study records and results in electronic laboratory notebooks such as Benchling and present the work in a final presentation.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old and independently authorized to work in the United States without current or future school or employer sponsorship.
• Must be enrolled full-time at an accredited U.S. college or university and remain enrolled full-time in the following fall semester.
• Must be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
• Must commit to a full-time internship lasting 10–12 consecutive weeks between May and August.
• Must be willing and able to work at the designated Foster City site for the internship; relocation may be required.
• Preferred fields include biology, immunology, biotechnology, biomedical sciences, pharmacology, or a related discipline.
