Sourcing Engineer / Ingénieur Développement Fournisseurs (Manufacturing): Developing and executing sourcing strategies for technically complex manufactured components and international supplier networks with an accent on supplier qualification, industrialization, cost analysis, and supply chain resilience. Focus on leading complex RFQs, negotiating long-term supply agreements, interpreting engineering requirements, and coordinating cross-functional production readiness.
Location: Poland, the UK, or remote; department location in Gdańsk is hybrid

What you will do
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for technically complex commodities, including textiles, plastics, electronics, castings, machining, forging, and tooling.
- Lead supplier identification, RFQs, evaluations, negotiations, qualification, approval, and sourcing gate reviews.
- Assess supplier capabilities, manufacturing processes, capacity, scalability, and production readiness.
- Lead tooling reviews, factory acceptance tests, supplier industrialization, and improvement plans covering cost, quality, delivery, and capacity.
- Partner with Product Engineering, Product Design, Quality, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain on new product introduction and sourcing projects.
- Build international supplier networks and negotiate long-term agreements covering pricing, lead times, capacity, tooling, MOQs, and payment terms.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5–8+ years of experience in mechanical product engineering, sourcing, or supplier development.
- Experience managing technically complex commodities and international manufacturing suppliers.
- Strong knowledge of trade compliance, supplier development, negotiation, cost analysis, risk management, and project leadership.
- Experience with Arena or another PLM system; proficiency in Power BI, SharePoint, and Excel; basic ERP knowledge.
- Proficient English and willingness to travel internationally as required.
