Strategic Buyer (Manufacturing)

Location: Dewsbury, UK (Hybrid: 1 day WFH)

What you will do

• Proactively manage a selected set of allocated suppliers and the overall supply base.
• Utilize data to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Establish and manage NDAs and LTAs for a specific portfolio of suppliers.
• Conduct regular supplier performance reviews using Scorecards to align with metrics and renegotiate terms.
• Support supply chain activities related to new product introductions, ECN changes, and SBD programs.
• Coordinate freight opportunities and manage Incoterm changes to optimize shipping modes.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a procurement role.
• Experience in either transactional or strategic procurement backgrounds.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Must be based in or able to work from Dewsbury, UK.
