Enterprise VDI / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (VMware/Azure)

What you will do

• Design, deploy, administer, and sustain a large-scale, multi-domain Virtual Desktop Infrastructure environment.
• Manage VMware ESXi, vSphere/vCenter, Omnissa Horizon, Horizon desktop pools, Connection Servers, Unified Access Gateways, Horizon Agents, and virtual desktop images.
• Administer Windows Server and desktop environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and domain/trust relationships.
• Deploy and support Azure infrastructure and networking, including VNets, subnets, NSGs, routing, and hybrid connectivity.
• Troubleshoot virtualization, networking, identity, storage, endpoint, and Windows environments.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using PowerShell and other scripting languages.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of IT and infrastructure experience, including at least 3 years working with VDI architectures.
• Enterprise administration experience with VMware ESXi, vSphere/vCenter, and Horizon.
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Top Secret security clearance.
• Experience with enterprise endpoint technologies, preferably 10ZiG or similar thin/zero-client platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting and end-to-end infrastructure integration skills across virtualization, networking, identity, storage, and Windows environments.

• Azure VMware Solution, ExpressRoute, Omnissa Horizon 8, App Volumes, Dynamic Environment Manager, and Blast Extreme.
• Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Conditional Access, MFA, Intune, Teams, OneDrive, and Office deployment.
• VMware NSX, vSAN, enterprise storage, load balancing, firewall technologies, PKI, monitoring, backup/DR, and high-availability architectures.
• Terraform, Ansible/AWX, Git, REST APIs, Infrastructure-as-Code, or multi-domain/multi-forest enterprise environments.
