What you will do
- Design, support, and evolve Azure environments for scalability, high availability, resilience, and cost optimization.
- Automate infrastructure and operational tasks with PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Infrastructure as Code using Bicep, ARM, and Terraform.
- Administer, troubleshoot, and patch Windows Server environments across cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
- Maintain hybrid identity with Active Directory and Entra ID, including synchronization, Conditional Access, and MFA.
- Manage Exchange environments and hybrid mail flow while improving security through Zero Trust, RBAC, and Key Vault.
- Build monitoring, alerting, proactive remediation, CI/CD pipelines, and self-healing infrastructure deployments.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in Windows Server and Active Directory.
- Experience with core Azure services, including virtual machines, networking, and storage.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and understanding of networking fundamentals.
- Basic knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery, and scalability concepts.
- AZ-104 certification is required or must be obtained shortly after joining.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly, analyze root causes, collaborate across teams, and maintain accurate technical documentation.
Nice to have
- Experience with Azure networking and design patterns, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Defender, Sentinel, Kubernetes, container platforms, and cloud cost optimization.
- AZ-305 certification or interest in progressing toward cloud design; AZ-400 certification for a DevOps track.
