Medical Representative (Ophthalmology)

Location: Iași, Romania; regular visits to customers and healthcare facilities in the assigned territory

Salary: RON 128,594–176,816 yearly, depending on experience and location

What you will do

• Build and maintain relationships with ophthalmologists, clinics, pharmacies, optical stores, and retail and wholesale customers through planned territory visits.
• Promote ophthalmology products by providing scientific and commercial information and organizing educational meetings, presentations, congresses, and training activities.
• Achieve sales, distribution, product availability, visibility, stock, and territory objectives, including promotional orders, agreements, and sample distribution.
• Maintain customer records in Veeva CRM and submit sales, activity, expense, and territory reports.
• Monitor payment terms and receivables and collaborate on customer segmentation and commercial actions.
• Report adverse events, product complaints, and safety information while supporting pharmacovigilance and compliance activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Healthcare, Life Sciences, or a related field; qualification as a Pharmaceutical Representative or Natural Scientist.
• At least 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or a similar commercial role.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, independent working, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Good command of Romanian and conversational English are required.
• Good PC skills, including Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office, plus experience with digital communication tools, iPad, laptop, iPhone, OCE, and CRM systems.
• Valid Category B driving licence and commitment to ethical, regulatory, and company compliance standards.
