Modeling and Simulation Engineer (C++)

What you will do

• Develop digital models for RF electronic warfare, EO/IR, and infrared countermeasure systems.
• Build and enhance frameworks and simulation capabilities within the core simulation system.
• Develop, integrate, and refine physics-based models in simulation frameworks.
• Analyze and translate customer requirements and processes into model-based engineering solutions.
• Support modeling of sensor systems, communication devices, and military systems.
• Contribute to novel model frameworks, kinematic and EW simulation tools, and visualization enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience with C++, C#, Python, Java, or simulation framework development.
• Experience with military systems modeling, sensor systems, communication devices, and physics-based models.
• Experience with integrated development environments such as Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code.
• Experience following Agile development processes and strong communication and organizational skills.
• US citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with SysML, MBSE tools, AFSIM, target tracking systems, or modeling and simulation tools.
• Experience supporting government customers and working with Department of Defense security practices.
• Experience conducting quantitative analysis and developing MS&A visualization tools.
