TL;DR
Staff Survivability and Operations Analysis Engineer (Aerospace): Developing and analyzing survivability technologies, mission systems, and advanced aerospace defense programs with an accent on RCS, IR, acoustics, threat systems, and modeling and simulation. Focus on leading cross-disciplinary engineering, manufacturing, and business efforts, building analysis environments, and evaluating electric, hybrid, and gas-turbine propulsion systems.

Location: Remote within the United States; US citizenship and eligibility to obtain a DoD security clearance required

Salary: $130,800–$179,900 base pay annually

What you will do

  • Support the hirify.global Defense and Advanced Programs organization in incubating, marketing, capturing, and executing advanced defense programs.
  • Perform technical, cost, and schedule analysis for programs within the hirify.global Defense portfolio.
  • Design, analyze, fabricate, and test survivability technologies including radar cross-section, infrared, and acoustic systems.
  • Conduct operations analysis using modeling and simulation environments such as AFSIM.
  • Analyze domestic and international threat systems and related mission-system capabilities.
  • Lead collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, and business disciplines.

Requirements

  • 6–10 years of experience in aerospace or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, physics, or mathematics; an MS or PhD is preferred.
  • Experience with survivability technologies, ASE, mission systems, operations analysis, modeling and simulation, and threat systems.
  • US citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.
  • Knowledge of RF, EW/EA, EOIR, acoustics, mission systems, sensors, communications, dynamic systems, propulsion systems, CAD, Python, and MATLAB.

Nice to have

  • Model-Based Systems Engineering, SysML, and DoDAF experience.
  • Experience working with customers.
