What you will do
- Lead system engineering for NPI, encompassing SoC definition, hardware design, bring-up, and validation.
- Drive the design and delivery of cost-effective reference platforms.
- Develop technical documentation, reference schematics, layout designs, and application notes.
- Provide high-level customer support, including onsite troubleshooting, training, and technical workshops.
- Manage multiple NPI and customer projects concurrently under aggressive schedules.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 7+ years of hardware board design experience.
- Independent experience in system board design using Cortex-A5x/A7x and power systems (PMIC, DC-DC, LDO).
- Strong PCB layout expertise including SI/PI principles, HDI high speed layout, and material selection.
- Proficiency in high-speed interface design: DDR, LPDDR4/5, PCIe 4.0, USB 3.0, and Ethernet.
- Advanced skill in Cadence OrCAD and Allegro.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Chinese.
Nice to have
- Experience with EMI/EMC compliance.
- Familiarity with simulation tools like Cadence Sigrity or HyperLynx.
- Experience in embedded software.
