Advanced Analytics Summer Internship, Actuarial (AI)

Location: Hybrid role at the corporate office in Short Hills, New Jersey; applicants must be within commuting distance.

Salary: USD $22.00–$25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Identify analytical solutions to business problems.
• Explore data trends and determine drivers of targeted metrics.
• Create predictive models to support analytical solutions.
• Evaluate the performance of new and existing models.
• Evaluate machine learning, AI, and generative AI technologies.
• Present findings to business partners and support solution implementation.

Requirements

• Working toward or holding a degree in mathematics, statistics, data science, machine learning, computer science, or another analytical field.
• Full-time undergraduate junior or senior status is preferred.
• Beginner-level Python experience; higher proficiency is preferred.
• Critical-thinking, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• High school diploma required; SQL experience is a plus.
