Engineer Sr, Mfg Product (Optical Technology)

What you will do

• Lead and participate in New Product Introduction processes, including process design and product design reviews.
• Drive variant development of complex optical switch modules from design through manufacturing readiness.
• Troubleshoot product and yield issues with cross-functional teams across multiple locations.
• Manage bills of materials and coordinate with supply chain teams and suppliers on custom parts and assemblies.
• Optimize manufacturing process flow, lead DFM and PFMEA activities, and develop or maintain detailed work instructions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or a related Science field.
• Strong organizational, communication, and prioritization skills, including the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Experience collaborating with local and international cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
• Strong data analysis capabilities, including familiarity with databases, statistical analysis tools, and process control systems.
• Knowledge of assembly and test processes, equipment capabilities, reliability principles, and materials science.

Nice to have

• Experience in New Product Introduction development.
• Experience with telecommunications products such as fiber optic line cards, optical modules, and related components.
