Location: Onsite in Torrance, California, United States

Salary: $90,000–$115,000 annually

What you will do

  • Maintain production schedules aligned with customer orders, forecasts, inventory levels, maintenance, and downtime.
  • Plan, coordinate, and update program plans, delivery information, schedules, and material requirements.
  • Monitor planning KPIs, prepare reports and action plans, and present findings to manufacturing, program management, supply chain, purchasing, quality, engineering, and customers.
  • Collaborate with production, manufacturing supervision, supply chain, and integrated business planning teams to resolve scheduling conflicts and work-center load imbalances.
  • Analyze part requirements, orders, reschedules, lead times, and inventory data; expedite assigned items and initiate kit pulls when required.
  • Maintain planning parameters and work with MRP, ERP, SAP, and DDMRP systems; train new employees and support planning education.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Industrial Management and at least two years of production planning analyst experience, including two years as a program analyst; equivalent manufacturing experience may be considered.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance and work with U.S. export-controlled information.
  • Experience with production planning, manufacturing scheduling, material control systems, and machine shop environments.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, business writing, and presentation skills, including advanced Excel functions such as PivotTables and VLOOKUP.
  • Knowledge of production scheduling techniques, pull systems, Heijunka, process flow, master scheduling, requirements planning, inventory control, kitting, and shop-floor control.
  • Supply chain experience and the ability to resolve program-plan and scheduling problems independently.

Nice to have

  • Aerospace industry experience.
  • APICS certification or coursework.
  • Experience with SAP, DDMRP, or Rapid Response.
  • Demand-driven process knowledge and SQL programming experience.
  • Statistical analysis experience.
