Test Engineer (Manufacturing Test)

Location: Suzhou, China; onsite manufacturing role

What you will do

• Troubleshoot manufacturing test equipment, fixtures, software, and product test failures to isolate root causes and restore production flow.
• Maintain, calibrate, upgrade, and improve PCBA functional test systems, including component replacement and obsolescence management.
• Maintain test software, scripts, automation tools, diagnostics, data collection capabilities, and version control documentation.
• Support the design, modification, validation, and maintenance of electrical and mechanical test fixtures and interfaces.
• Develop and deploy new manufacturing test solutions while improving reliability, serviceability, manufacturability, throughput, and uptime.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on software improvements and new product introductions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of experience supporting manufacturing test systems, automated test equipment, or electronics production environments.
• Experience troubleshooting electronic systems and printed circuit board assemblies.
• Experience with automated test software, scripting, or programming using Python, LabVIEW, C#, or similar technologies.
• Ability to use electrical measurement equipment and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Fluent English communication skills are required, along with the ability to collaborate across time zones and cultures.
