What you will do

• Design, develop, and execute functional and electrical test procedures for products and components.
• Perform relay protection and trip function testing.
• Analyze test data, identify trends and root causes, and lead troubleshooting of wiring errors, component failures, and control logic issues.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve product issues and improve testing methods and processes.
• Maintain test documentation and reports while ensuring compliance with safety standards and procedures.
• Support Factory Witness Testing by providing technical explanations, demonstrations, and issue resolution.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in testing, engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and testing methods.
• Ability to develop test plans, drawings, and technical documentation and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
• Experience with automated test systems such as LabVIEW, Python, or NI tools.
• Familiarity with PLC systems or embedded systems testing.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred; ability to follow NFPA 70E and departmental safety standards.

Nice to have

• Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Background in high-reliability industries such as aerospace, defense, or medical devices.
