What you will do

  • Support the development, implementation, troubleshooting, and improvement of manufacturing test solutions for new products.
  • Apply Design for Test principles with Development Engineering to improve product testability.
  • Assist with test strategies, plans, procedures, fixtures, automation, acceptance criteria, and technical documentation.
  • Develop and modify basic test software and scripts using Python and other programming environments.
  • Configure, operate, verify, maintain, and troubleshoot test systems across Linux and Windows environments.
  • Support prototype, pilot, first-build, and production-transition activities, including hands-on hardware troubleshooting and test execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, computer, aerospace, or mechanical engineering, computer science, physics, or a related technical discipline; an applicable associate degree may be considered with additional hands-on experience.
  • 0–3 years of relevant engineering, testing, manufacturing, laboratory, internship, or technical project experience.
  • Exposure to programming or scripting, preferably Python, and basic familiarity with Linux or command-line environments.
  • Basic understanding of electrical and electronic systems, technical documentation, schematics, specifications, and test procedures.
  • Hands-on willingness to work with hardware, test equipment, fixtures, wiring, mechanical assemblies, and production personnel.
  • US citizenship is required due to OPSEC requirements, along with the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Python, MATLAB, C, C++, LabVIEW, embedded programming, networking, serial communications, or test-system integration.
  • Experience with electronic and RF test equipment, including oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers.
  • Experience with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, microcontrollers, software-defined radio, or other embedded hardware platforms.
  • Experience with electromechanical hardware, CAD, mechanical design, fabrication, or test-fixture development.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance and familiarity with Git, Jira, MES, PLM, or related engineering tools.
