23101-SW Test Engineer (Industrial IoT)

What you will do

• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated tests for UI, API, and backend components of the ProdX platform.
• Integrate automated testing into Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps pipelines and track automation metrics.
• Own the software test strategy across the full SDLC, including functional, integration, system, regression, and release validation testing.
• Validate device data acquisition, real-time monitoring, analytics, reporting, and software interaction with X-ray, checkweighing, and metal-detection hardware.
• Test online and offline network scenarios across cloud, edge, and on-premise deployments to ensure data integrity and resilience.
• Lead regulatory and cybersecurity compliance testing, manage defects and root-cause analysis, and coordinate audit evidence and certification documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical expertise.
• Proficiency with test automation tools and frameworks including Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, REST-assured, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Experience with Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation and utility scripting.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Git, Agile/Scrum or SAFe, and the full software development lifecycle.
• Fluent English and the ability to collaborate with developers, architects, product owners, R&D, product, and hardware teams in a multinational environment.
• Knowledge of FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GAMP 5, OIML, ISO standards, or EU Cyber Resilience Act requirements is highly preferred.
