Sustaining Engineer

What you will do

• Manage and implement engineering changes for products, including preliminary drawings, marked-up drawings, feasibility reviews, approvals, tracking, and system release.
• Apply DFSS and DFM practices to product design and development, support new product launches, participate in phase review meetings, and define product validation commitments.
• Develop cost-reduction proposals using VAVE principles.
• Manage product deviations through internal systems.
• Clarify technical requirements related to raw materials, product design, specifications, and regulatory certifications for internal and external customers.
• Manage product certifications with regulatory agencies and support problem solving using structured quality methods.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional engineering experience.
• English proficiency of at least 80% in writing, reading, or conversation.
• Knowledge of ISO or TS standards.
• Experience with problem-solving techniques, including 5 Whys, 8D, A3, Ishikawa diagrams, or Six Sigma.
• Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor.
• Knowledge of Core Tools such as FMEA, Control Plan, APQP, PPAP, or SPC is desirable.
