Senior Industrial Engineer

What you will do

• Analyze and optimize manual and semi-manual assembly processes using Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Identify and eliminate waste through Kaizen Events, Value Stream Mapping, and continuous improvement projects.
• Conduct time and motion studies, define standard work, and align production with takt requirements.
• Develop flexible work instructions for mixed-model production and implement standard work, SMED, and line balancing.
• Optimize kitting, point-of-use materials, pull systems, Kanban, and material flow for high-mix manufacturing.
• Monitor labor efficiency, changeover time, FPY, WIP, and lead time while collaborating with production and quality teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing, preferably electronics assembly.
• Strong experience with Lean Manufacturing, VSM, Kaizen, SMED, 5S, standard work, and line balancing.
• Knowledge of flexible manufacturing, mixed-model production, pull systems, and material flow optimization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ERP/MES systems; advanced Excel preferred.
