Assistant Facilities Engineer (HVAC)

Location: Suzhou, Jiangsu, China; on-site work required

What you will do

• Support the operation, maintenance, inspection, and continuous improvement of HVAC, cleanroom, BMS/EMS, exhaust, water, and other facility systems.
• Monitor operating data, identify abnormalities, troubleshoot issues, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Support maintenance and minor improvement projects, including planning, site coordination, safety control, progress tracking, and acceptance.
• Coordinate contractors and service providers in accordance with technical specifications, GMP, and EHS requirements.
• Prepare and maintain SOPs, maintenance records, drawings, reports, and engineering documentation.
• Assist with deviation investigations, CAPA, change control, qualification, validation, energy monitoring, and continuous-improvement activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in HVAC, building environment and energy engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, automation, or a related discipline.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, automation, or facility systems, with the ability and willingness to learn plant utility operations.
• Ability to read basic technical drawings and use Microsoft Office.
• Good English proficiency is required for reading technical documents, SOPs, equipment manuals, and engineering specifications, as well as basic written and verbal communication.
• Good communication, coordination, problem-solving, teamwork, and safety-awareness skills; willingness to respond to urgent facility issues when required.
• No minimum work experience is required; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Nice to have

• AutoCAD capability.
• Internship, project, or coursework exposure to facility systems, GMP-regulated manufacturing, maintenance, or energy management.
