Engineer Staff, Quality (Manufacturing QA)

Location: hirify.global Thailand, Navanakorn – Pathum Thani, Thailand; work in office, quality laboratory, cleanroom, and manufacturing-floor environments

What you will do

• Lead manufacturing quality assurance for assigned products or production areas.
• Monitor defects, yield loss, scrap, rework, process capability, and quality escapes.
• Define inspection strategies, sampling plans, acceptance criteria, traceability controls, and quality dispositions for nonconforming products.
• Lead investigations, containment, root-cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and effectiveness verification for complex manufacturing issues.
• Drive quality readiness for NPI, product transfers, qualification, production ramp-up, and engineering or process changes.
• Support audits and improvement projects while coaching Quality Engineers, technicians, inspectors, and production teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Applied Science, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in manufacturing quality assurance or quality engineering.
• Strong knowledge of 8D, root-cause analysis, CAPA, PFMEA, control plans, SPC, MSA, DOE, and statistical analysis.
• Experience with manufacturing nonconformance, audits, process validation, NPI, engineering changes, and quality-management systems.
• Good understanding of ISO 9001 or comparable quality standards.
• Good command of written and spoken English; strong technical leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional influencing skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in optical, photonic, semiconductor, electronics, or other high-technology manufacturing.
• Experience with manufacturing quality leadership, risk management, structured problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making.
