Application Engineer - Electrical Markets

What you will do

• Identify and develop new product applications through customer engagement, technical presentations, and field trials.
• Lead application development and product improvement initiatives for medium- and high-voltage cable accessories.
• Provide technical support and technical marketing to utility and industrial customers.
• Plan and execute field trials, pre-qualification, product validation, type testing, and certification activities.
• Conduct failure analysis and root cause investigations for cable joints and terminations.
• Support product introductions, customized solutions, training, competitive analysis, technical publications, and market adoption.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in power engineering.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution and transmission systems, including cables, switchgear, and transformers.
• Hands-on experience with installation, testing, or troubleshooting of cable accessories.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to lead technical initiatives independently.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel for field work.

Nice to have

• Experience with medium- and high-voltage cable accessories.
