Operations Leadership Development Program (OLDP) Intern (Business Operations): Developing solutions across operational effectiveness, project leadership, data analytics, and technology enablement with an accent on process analysis, Lean Six Sigma, Agile methodologies, and AI-assisted analytics. Focus on evaluating analytical output quality, modernizing business platforms, and presenting solutions to business and operations challenges.
Location: St. Paul, Minnesota; the internship program is based in Hartford, Connecticut. Positions run from early June through the end of the summer, with subsidized apartments available for students living beyond a commutable distance from Hartford.
Salary: $25.00–$27.00 per hour, plus eligibility for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What you will do
- Complete assignments across business operations and business development as part of the OLDP curriculum.
- Improve operational effectiveness through process analysis and Lean Six Sigma methods.
- Lead projects using Agile methodologies.
- Use modern analytics and artificial intelligence platforms to evaluate business data and the quality and accuracy of AI-assisted outputs.
- Support technology and digital enablement initiatives to modernize business platforms.
- Develop and present solutions to relevant business and operations topics while collaborating with fellow interns.
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States now and in the future.
- Visa sponsorship and support for H-1B petitions, TN, or Forms I-983/STEM OPT are not available.
- Pursuing or having obtained a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
- Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater.
- Degree focus in business management, economics, finance, insurance, liberal arts, risk management, supply chain, operations, or a related discipline.
- Leadership experience in a professional, academic, or community setting, such as managing a team, leading a project, mentoring others, or serving in a student organization.
Nice to have
- Experience applying leadership fundamentals in academic, professional, or community environments.
- Familiarity with actuarial, finance, underwriting, product, or field office production functions.
