Senior Technical Sourcer (Defense Hardware)

Location: Torrance, CA headquarters preferred; hybrid or remote arrangements may be possible for the right candidate

What you will do

• Source qualified candidates for hard-to-fill engineering, hardware, manufacturing, and corporate roles.
• Use LinkedIn, GitHub, personal networks, industry forums, and other platforms to engage passive talent.
• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to clarify role requirements and candidate profiles.
• Build and maintain organized candidate pipelines and provide recruiting updates.
• Support outreach campaigns, initial phone and email engagement, and employer branding initiatives.
• Track sourcing metrics and recommend improvements to sourcing strategies and outcomes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of recruiting or sourcing experience, preferably in hardware, defense, or high-growth startup environments.
• Strong experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools.
• Excellent research, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to identify and engage passive candidates.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Access to export-controlled information may require U.S. Government authorization, security clearance, citizenship, or other eligibility requirements.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, or software engineering roles.
• Experience supporting recruiting for scaling hardware teams in early-stage startups.
• Understanding of candidate markets, competitive landscapes, and sourcing best practices.
• Ability to write compelling outreach messages for passive candidates.
