Senior Application Engineer (High Vacuum)

What you will do

• Set up and manage programs with key customers to deliver technical solutions and develop new application opportunities for Edwards SV products, especially ion pumps.
• Provide consultancy on process technology and the application of Edwards equipment to solve customer problems.
• Lead product modifications and the development of new standard products for key projects.
• Visit customers with the sales team and support technical solutions for new projects.
• Organize training for sales engineers and seminars for customers.
• Build strong technical relationships and collaborate with regional product and market specialists.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in high vacuum, process tools, and ancillary equipment.
• Knowledge of high-vacuum applications, relevant vacuum technologies, and products.
• Experience engaging with customers and engineering functions.
• Strong influencing, negotiation, and presentation skills, including communication with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work on-site in Shanghai, China.
