Warehouse Material Controller Team Leader

Location: On-site in Saugerties, NY, United States; second shift, 2:30–11:00 PM.

Salary: $33.00–$38.00 per hour, plus a 10% shift differential.

What you will do

• Lead daily warehouse operations covering receipt, storage, replenishment, picking, delivery, safety, security, and cleanliness.
• Manage inventory accuracy, stock takes, cycle counting, material variance investigations, and corrective actions.
• Optimize warehouse space, storage layouts, replenishment processes, Kanban sizing, and material flow to production lines.
• Coordinate warehouse and material controller teams, allocate work, assess capacity, provide guidance, and develop team skills.
• Monitor warehouse KPIs, inventory transactions, shortages, operational risks, and recovery plans with production, buying, logistics, and other stakeholders.
• Support new production lines, localization projects, 3PL improvement initiatives, and timely order dispatch in SAP and Encompix.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least 8 years of warehouse and material management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with warehouse management automation activities.
• Familiarity with ERP systems; SAP and Encompix experience preferred.
• Intermediate English communication skills, written and verbal.
• Ability to work on-site in Saugerties, NY, on the second shift.
