Materials Supervisor, 2nd Shift

What you will do

• Manage internal material flow from receiving and inspection through line-side presentation, end-of-line picking, packing, shipping, and intra-plant deliveries.
• Oversee inventory management, storage, staging, replenishment, cycle counting, transactions, bar coding, RFID, and fill-rate performance.
• Develop and implement standard processes and strategies that improve production efficiency and delivery performance.
• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop materials staff while tracking objectives and key performance indicators.
• Partner with Quality, Purchasing, Planning, and Production to resolve customer quality and delivery issues.
• Balance staffing capacity with workload and act as the SAP SuperUser for the functional area when assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• For Materials Supervisor I: 2 years of materials leadership and 2 years leading teams, developing people, or organizing tasks.
• For Materials Supervisor II: 4 years of materials leadership and 4 years leading teams, developing people, or organizing tasks.
• Leadership capabilities including accountability, coaching, conflict resolution, change management, and team development.
• Ability to work onsite in Eagle, Wisconsin, on the 2nd shift.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP or an equivalent ERP system such as Oracle, JD Edwards, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Microsoft Office experience.
• Formal leadership or team development training.
• Lean or Demand Flow experience and CPIM or CSCP certification for Materials Supervisor II.
