Supplier Risk Analyst

Location: Newcastle, Glasgow, or Edinburgh, United Kingdom. Hybrid working with typically 2 days per week onsite.

Salary: From £33,040 depending on experience, plus annual bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Collect, analyse, and interpret data from multiple sources for supplier assurance, reporting, and risk management decisions.
• Support supplier risk and assurance reviews by identifying issues, recommending actions, and escalating concerns.
• Monitor risk indicators and compliance requirements against regulatory expectations, internal policies, and control frameworks.
• Produce reports, insights, and analysis to support decision-making, continuous improvement, and supplier oversight.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and coordinate meetings, actions, and communications.
• Help develop supplier risk processes, controls, and assurance activities.

Requirements

• Experience analysing data, producing reports, and generating insights for business decisions, risk management, or assurance reviews.
• Knowledge of risk, compliance, governance, or regulatory requirements, with the ability to interpret policies and assess issues.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, organisation, and planning skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model with typically 2 days per week onsite in Newcastle, Glasgow, or Edinburgh.

Nice to have

• Experience in supplier risk, third-party risk, audit, compliance, or operational risk.
• Experience supporting assurance, regulatory, or control testing activities.
• Strong financial analysis or reporting experience.
• Knowledge of financial services regulatory frameworks and supplier governance requirements.
