Field Service Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Must be based in Hsinchu, Taiwan (Local hire)

What you will do

• Provide technical support and recipe setup at customer sites.
• Perform on-site diagnostics and troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Respond to emergency service calls and manage critical escalations.
• Instruct customer technicians on system operation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with sales to advise customers on product applications.
• Prepare technical reports and track equipment performance.

Requirements

• BS engineering degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a CS support department for high-tech products.
• At least 1 year of semiconductor industry experience preferred.
• Proficiency in C, Python, and Matlab.
• Must be a Taiwan local hire.
• Excellent customer interface and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in engineering.
• Previous experience mentoring new hire engineers.
